Shahid Kapoor has recently mended his differences with his ‘Kaminey’ director Vishal Bhardwaj and is now reportedly trying to convince Vishal for a sequel of the critically acclaimed movie.
The movie was well appreciated by the critics and Shahid’s double role also received good response from his audience. This has motivated the actor to plan for a sequel of ‘Kaminey’. The actor has been reportedly visiting Vishal’s Lokhandwala office, frequently in recent times to woo him for ‘Kaminey 2’.
If things get properly placed, the audience can expect to see the actor teaming up with Vishal for the sequel. Both of them parted ways due to some differences during the making of ‘Kaminey’. However, they have patched up now and a sequel is not impossible.
According to a source close to the actor, Shahid has been sending feelers to the director to cast him in ‘Kaminey 2’ to revive the double role of soft-spoken Guddu and the feisty Charlie. Shahid has a strong feeling that the movie has turned a brand now and there will be a lot of takers for the sequel.
Vishal is also excited about the plan of a sequel but he is taking time to finalize things. Moreover, the director is now busy with his upcoming movie of ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’, which stars Priyanka Chopra, the source added.
There was a report sometime back that Shahid and Vishal had a long meeting in London during the director’s visit to the city for ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’. In fact, Vishal was reported to have met Shahid’s dad, the veteran actor Pankaj Kapoor.
