Well, after learning about his wife’s latest pet passion-‘Beauty Oils’ Abhi bhaiyya decided to do something different this Diwali for his loving wife and has gifted her a real exotic beauty oil gift hamper specially orders and flown in from an unknown location, which has some rare and wonderful beauty oils like Patchouli oils, Granium oil and Orange Oil, which is Ash’s favorite.

Actress Aishwarya Rai, who was supposed to feature on Sony TV’s reality show “Dance Premier League”, couldn’t accept the offer due to her packed schedule and not on account of money issues, her publicist said Tuesday.

“A recent news story issued by a channel suggested Aishwarya Rai was ousted by Madhuri Dixit for one of their reality shows, citing money as an issue. We would wish to clarify that this is an act of fiction, fact being that Aishwarya, who is known to be a thorough professional, had to refuse the show on account of her commitment to films,” her publicist said in a press statement.

The show is now being judged by Rani Mukerji along with dance guru Shiamak Davar.

Aishwarya is currently busy shooting Sanjay Leela’s “Guzaarish”.

Aishwarya Rai has refuted rumours that she was to play the female lead opposite her husband Abhishek Bachchan in Ashutosh Gowariker’s next “Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se”. The actress says that the director knew about her packed schedule and the discussion never took place.

Recent media reports suggested that Aishwarya was to play the lead role before Asin was finalised for the film opposite actor Abhishek. But both – the actress and filmmaker – deny it.

“I don’t have the dates right now as my schedule diary is super packed. This film (’Khelein Hum…’) starts next month. So there never was that possibility,” Aishwarya, who played Rajput princess Jodhabai in Gowariker’s historical epic “Jodhaa Akbar”, told IANS.

“And since Ashu (Ashutosh Gowariker) is a close friend and his main lead is my husband, they obviously knew it. So the discussion didn’t even arise,” she added.

Gowariker confirmed it saying: “I had not approached her (Aishwarya) for ‘Khelein Hum…’. Aishwarya, for me, belongs to a fairytale. She is a quintessential princess and by far one of the finest actresses we have.

“But we need to plan things in advance. She is extremely professional and hence I would never like to upset her schedules in any way. I’m very happy with the coming together of Abhishek and Asin.”

“Khelein Hum…” will feature Abhishek as freedom fighter Surya Sen, who was the chief architect of anti-British freedom movement in Chittagong, now in Bangladesh.

This will be Gowariker’s second period film after “Lagaan”.

Aishwarya Rai is suffering from chest infection and other flu-like symptoms, and pa-in-law Amitabh Bachchan is quite worried about it,considering how Swine Flu is taking it’s toll.

Big B wrote on his blog, “Aishwarya has taken ill and is down with chest infection and flu like symptoms. She had a high fever yesterday, but is settling down today.”

“It’s worrying to be so far away from children and not be there to look after them. Yes, they are mature and married and responsible, but children will always remain children.”

If things work out well then Bollywood’s two dancing divas Madhuri Dixit Nene and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen judging a dance reality show. The TV channel is in talks with the actresses. However this will happen only if their dates match. Madhuri who is coming on or off to India, may accept the offer. If this happens, we will see the actresses together once again after Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan are on the way to dump their seven year old rivalry as the two great Bollywood personalities are coming together for Shahrukh Khan’s next home production. They clashed during the filming of ‘Chalte Chalte’ when Shahrukh Khan ousted Ash and cast Rani Mukherjee for the unceremonious behavior of Salman Khan on the set. The duo that ablaze the silver screen with their sizzling chemistry in ‘Mohabbatein’ and ‘Devdas’ decided to bury the hatchet and come together once more to entertain the audience. Shahrukh Khan desired to cast Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in his next production and sources confirmed that Ash too agreed to play his ladylove.

Aishwarya Rai who is quite busy these days with promotions and movies wants to prepare herself to become a mother.

Aishwarya apparently wants to complete all her work by 2010 so that she can concentrate on motherhood.

A source close to Ash says, “This no doubt is the busiest phase of Aishwarya’s career. Such a flurry of assignments has never been seen before in any married actress’ life and she’d be foolish to let such opportunities slip by. Luckily, Abhishek is thoroughly supportive of her career. She wants to complete as many of these assignments as she can to before she becomes a mother. Because once she gets into that role she wouldn’t want any other distractions. That, Aishwarya is sure of.”

Aishwarya Rai Bachhan was spotted at the launch of Beautiful Beginnings, a free training campaign in beauty services for underprivileged girls in Mumbai on Tuesday evening.

There was a controversy at IIFA 2009 in Macau, Ashutosh Gowariker director of Jodhaa Akbar, publicly said that Aishwarya deserved the best actress award for Jodhaa Akbar, not Priyanka Chopra for Fashion.

The whole Bollywood was shocked by Ashutosh’s comments, he said the same about Rock On at Star Screen Awards 2009 earlier this year and now his outburst against his next leading lady Priyanka Chopra.However Jaya Bachchan is supporting Ashutosh’s outburst, clearly stating that Ash deserved the award.

Jaya Bachchan’s name was mentioned by Ashutosh during the outburst, to which Jaya replies, First of all it is being presumed that Ashutosh unnecessarily mentioned my name regarding Aishwarya’s omission from the awards. The fact is, I suggested he bring up the question on stage at IIFA. We were discussing why Aishwarya has not been given any award for Jodhaa-Akbar and I suggested Ashutosh bring up the matter. So when he mentioned my name he wasn’t doing anything wrong.”

“The entire principal cast and crew of Jodhaa-Akbar have been rightly nominated for the popular awards and have won also. I find it very strange that Aishwarya who lived her part and looked every inch the royal Rajasthani queen in her body language and overall performance was ignored.”

For all I know she must be really good in Fashion. I haven’t seen it. But I’ve seen Priyanka’s work in Dostana and liked it. She’s undoubtedly a good actress. I don’t have any objection to her winning the award at IIFA. But I wonder why Aishwarya’s fine performance was ignored. I think she and the Jodhaa-Akbar cinematographer Kiran Deohans richly deserved recognition for their work.”
