Shimla, After Bollywood actress Kangna Ranaut’s name surfaced in connection with the probe into David Coleman Headley — a man suspected of involvement in the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai — Kangna’s father Thursday strongly denied any link.

Pakistani-origin US citizen Headley was recently arrested by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and charged with plotting terror attacks in Denmark. After his arrest, FBI officials have also alleged that he was involved in last year’s 26/11 attack, and was planning more attacks in India at the behest of the Pakistan-based terrorist group Lashkar-e-Toiba.

“My daughter (Kangna) has no links with Lashkar aide David Headley. She never met nor spoke to Headley. We are really disturbed after such allegations were levelled against her,” her father Amardeep Ranaut told IANS over phone.

The family of Kangna is settled at Bhambla village near Hamirpur town of Himachal Pradesh, some 200 km from state capital Shimla.

“We are consulting lawyers in this regard. We will take legal action against those who are spreading rumours (about her link with Headley),” he said.

Asked about Kangna’s acquaintance with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt’s son Rahul, Amardeep said: “She has worked in some of Mahesh Bhatt’s films, but she has never met Rahul.”

Rahul has been questioned as a witness in the Headley investigation, as Headley used Rahul’s south Mumbai gym during his stay in the city a few days before the 26/11 attack.

Headley had befriended Rahul and there have been rumours — denied by the Bhats — that Rahul introduced Headley to Bollywood stars Emraan Hashmi, Aarti Chhabria and Kangna Ranaut.

“She will meet reporters at the appropriate time,” Kangna’s father said.

This week’s guest on Sallu’s show Dus Ka Dum are actress Kangana Ranaut and famous face reader Janardhan Baba.

A source from Dus Ka Dum set says, “She had a grand entry with the other ramp models on the stage. Her catwalk was oozing confidence. The film ‘Fashion’ has really given huge make over to this beauty.”

Janardhan Baba also did some future prediction for Kangana Ranaut, “He said that the actress has a ghostly dosh in her kundali. Hearing this Kangana immediately replied, “Panditji don’t say this on TV, as hearing this nobody will propose marriage to me”.

Just like the way they shocked the public with the announcement of their relationship, Kangana Ranaut  and Adhyayan Suman  have shocked everyone by making their break up public after being together for over a year. Adhyayan admitted that he and Kangana have split. He said that he Wanted  to concentrate on his career and added that sustaining a long-distance relationship is not easy.

However, Kangana was shocked because the decision came from Adhyayan. She said Adhyayan might have other priorities and people in life. She added that it was an amicable break up and wished him all the best. It is said that Adhyayan’s father Shekhar Suman’s disapproval on the relationship might have ignited the break up.

Shekhar had earlier expressed his dislike for Kangana. Adding more salt to the wounds, Adhyayan was linked with actresses like Shahana Goswami and Anjana Sukhani .

Kangana says,”Adhyayan and I had a talk about our relationship and it was his decision to move on. It came as a shock to me. But I guess he has other priorities now, and many options in terms of people to be with. It’s an amicable break-up and I wish him the best.”

A friend of Kangana says,”Kangna who had been shooting for a film in Hyderabad for a long spell, met Adhyayan for dinner recently. The source said, After a calm and mature discussion , they decided to end their relationship mutually. More than Kangna, Adhyayan was keen on a break-up .”

Rumors are it that dad Shekhar Suman was dead against Kangana Ranaut!

But she must be feeling humiliated with the way the makers of her latest film Kites have treated her.Everybody knows that Hrithik Roshan and Mexican actress Barbara Mori are in Kites but only a handful will know that Kangana too play a vital role in it.

It looks like the makers of Kites are intentionally ignoring Kangana because she was not even invited to the Cannes Film Festival whereas Hrithik and Barbara were seen walking the red carpet arm in arm.Knowing that the media could make a mountain out of a mole hill, Kangana played down the rumours that she has been made to sit in the back seat by the makers of Kites. She diplomatically said that Barbara would promotes the film, as she is the lead actress of the film.

She assured that people would love the film.Well, Kangana has taken the safer route by not opening the doors for another controversy. It’s a wise move indeed!

After playing a model in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion and walking the ramp a number of times on and off the screen, one would think Kangana Ranaut has mastered the art, but sometimes even a pro can falter – like she actress did, when she tripped on her clothes while sashaying down the ramp in a Suneet Varma creation.

"The show was nice and the collection was really good. It was nice to be a part of Suneet’s show. He is my favorite designer and I’ve done Kites with him. I was very glad to be a part of this show. It was a great show," says Kangana.

Talking of her latest film Kites, one wonders why Kangana was not seen promoting the film at Cannes along side its lead pair Barbara Mori and Hrithik Roshan. When asked whether she felt that Barbara was stealing the limelight, Kangana says diplomatically, "Barbara will come to promote Kites because she is the main cast of the film and the film is all about lovers, so it will be good. People will really like the film."

And finally, if you thought that it was Kangana’s ‘good friend’ Adhyayan Suman who was always by her side then you are in for a surprise. It’s her pet pooch who gets all her attention, because – as she puts it – she can’t leave the pooch alone.

Bollywood Actress Kangana Ranaut is hardly having any films on hand apart from the recently completed Hritik Roshan starrer Kites. Despite having scored a solo hit this year with Raaz 2, not many makers are rushing to sign her. The reason we found left us stumped.

She has clearly told directors to now come to her only if they have a script good enough to cast Adhyayan in the lead role. Only big filmmakers and big production houses are exempt from this clause. If you want Kangana in the lead and can sign on Adhyayan, you know what to do.

Young starlet Kangana Ranaut who made her debut with Gangster, has got herself into trouble. A case has been lodged against Kangana for allegedly abusing and assaulting her driver.

A complain has been filed by her driver, Rajesh Shah, in Versova police station on Wednesday evening. He accused Kangana of slapping him while he was driving her for a shoot. Kangana’s sister Rangoli was also accompanying her when the incident took place.

Shah stated in his complaint that the actress was unhappy with the way he was driving for past few months.

The driver also revealed, that the received death threats from Ranaut sisters over the phone after the incident.

When contacted, the police said they were looking into the complaint.
