Actress Ameesha Patel was recently shooting for a Telugu movie in Hyderabad. She wasn’t in a good mood, as recently she lost her grandmother few days back and could not bear the heat of the town in such a condition. Ameesha collapsed on the set and she had to be admitted to a hospital.

Hearing this, the caring mother of the actress rushed from Mumbai to be on her daughter’s side. Actually, Ameesha was very close to her grandmother, who passed away a few days back. She was in deep distress after loosing her ‘dadi’. But life cannot stop here so the actress decided to move on and tried to keep herself busy with shooting even though the family members asked her to relax for some time.

An eye-witness was quoted saying that she collapsed totally on the set and the crew members took her to a neighboring hospital. The actress was then put on intravenous drip, the source added.

Ameesha’s brother actor Ashmit Patel was quoted confirming the news of her hospitalization. He said that the heat and dust of the Hyderabad city might have taken a toll on her when she was already in grief. He added that the strong viral infection around the city might have also affected. However, he was happy that their mother is now with Ameesha to take proper care of her. Ashmit further informed that his sister has almost recovered and shall resume her work again.

Ameesha Patel who turns 33 today made her debut opposite Hrithik Roshan in Kaho Na Pyar Hai. She then delivered a powerful performance in Gadar and in Ankahee.

Sadly she has not many good films in her kitty to boast about.However the beauty is awaiting two flicks this year, Run Bhola Run with Govinda and Chatur Singh Two Star with Sanjay Dutt. She has also signed a three-flick deal with Yash Raj in one of them she will star with heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor.

Buzz was that, Ameesha Patel was all set to become a politician after she granted a party ticket by NCP in Rajkot, however little miss Ameesha Patel has denied the rumors.

She says, “Numerous parties have approached me to contest the elections. And this is not the first time that such a thing has happened. But once and for all, I want to clarify that I’m not getting into politics right now. I don’t know who has been giving such confirmations, but the news is anything but true. I need to make my stand clear officially. Maybe, it’s my family’s association with politics that gets the rumour mills working overtime.”

However she does hint at politics as her future carees, she says,“Getting into politics will be a natural process. In future, maybe I will take up politics. But the time’s not ripe. Don’t you feel I’m too young to take a decision like that at this point of time?”

So who wants to see Ameesha as a politician?

An eyewitness says, “Kareena and Saif had already arrived and were seen chatting with people when Ameesha and Kanav arrived with a gang of friends after Kanav’s birthday party.

Kanav and Saif know each other well so when they met each other, they started chatting like long-lost friends. But though Bebo and Ameesha exchanged cordial greetings they didn’t speak at all after that. Their vibes were freezing.”

Ameesha says, “I have no problems with Kareena and will always be polite to her though it’s true we didn’t chat but just exchanged hellos.

I am very fond of Saif who is extremely well-mannered, a thorough gentleman and a gem of a person. He’s also a friend of Kanav’s as Kanav and Soha used to study at the same school in Delhi.

So when Kanav and Saif met up again at Tusshar’s party, both got along like a house on fire. Last year, when Saif and I were shooting for Lazy Lamhe and Saif and Kareena were dating, Saif had wanted to do something special for her so I went out of my way to accommodate him and wind up early. I even attended the music launch of Refugee.

I don’t belong to camps nor am I part of industry battles. I know Kareena earlier said that she hadn’t given as big flops as I had but I don’t hold anything against her for saying those things about me.”

Ameesha adds that she would love to do a film with Bebo if offered.

“If we are offered good roles together I would love to act with her. It’s immature to hold grudges.
