Ooh! Gauri Khan, wife of far-famed Bollywood Superstar has a great challenge on her potentials. With Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jessia launching their restaurant-lounge shortly in Delhi in July, she’s been offered to design a part of it.
The much-tightlipped Arjun Rampal reveals the secret, “Gauri Khan and Nandita Mahtani will be designing one of the tables while Tarun Tahilini and Rohit Bal are already on the task of ideating for best designs. Certainly, the fourth one will be done by me. I’ve urged Mehr to be in charge for the entire club.”
On the buttons, the idea of placing 4 designer tables is to add more advantage to this club. Totting up to the extravaganzas is that bigwigs of B-Town Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Farhan Akhtar visiting the place regularly.
Sources have revealed that Gauri’s table goes inclusive of designer crockery or glassware specially designed by her Superstar Pathi Shah Rukh…
Gauhar Khan seems to be surrounded by controversies ever since she signed on the celebrity dance show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
First, she seemed to have a problem with her choreographer, Hanif Halal. She found him wanting in the Bollywood style of dancing.
Then, there were the allegations of receiving support from an outside team. Rajul Hegde asked Gauhar to clear the air.
After watching you dance on Jhalak, you don’t look like a non-dancer. I’ve never said I’m not a dancer. Dance is my passion and Jhalak is a great platform to show off my talent. But I’m not a trained dancer.
Performing on this show is challenging and tiring but wonderful. People have asked me why I haven’t done films. I think that’s the biggest compliment.
Is it difficult for you to learn different forms of dance? It’s not easy. You have to really rack your brains on how to be different. We try new things every week.
You complained about your choreographer on national television. Was any of it real or was it an act? It was real. I had my apprehensions about his choreography but only in the Bollywood style. Other than that, he is fantastic, especially in the Latin dance form.
Hanif is a sweet and chilled out guy. Sometimes we have our differences and don’t look at each other’s face for 20 minutes. As professionals, we have a great rapport. We’re working hard. We hope to make it to the finals.
