After posting a nasty comment on Twitter on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Guzaarish”, Ram Gopal Varma has apologized to his fellow filmmaker and, as a “peace offering”, decided to release his “Rakta Charitra II” on the same day, Nov 19.

“If anything so enamoured of hatred can be called a peace offering, then yes I’m releasing ‘Rakta Charitra II’ on the same day (Nov 19) as Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Guzaarish’,” chuckles Ramu.

For the first time in his entire career as an outspoken critique of the Bollywood denizens, Ram Gopal Varma has apologized to a filmmaker for offending him.

Ramu realised he had gone too far with his Twitter comment and profusely apologised to Bhansali.

Ramu’s SMS to Bhansali reads: “I’m sorry if I offended you. I just have this habit of constantly saying something funny on Twitter about every happening out there. Most of the comments are on me. I make more comments on my own films than anybody else’s. I’ll take back my remark publicly asap. Sorry again.”

Vivek Oberoi Marriage Date: Vivek Oberoi and Priyanka Alva wedding date has been fixed on October 29th, 2010. Priyanka Alva is the daughter of Karnataka Minister, Jeevaraj Alwa. Priyanka Alva is a Business Management Graduate from London. She has spent her entire student life in overseas.

Thus, without letting our admiration for James Cameron come in the way of our verdict on ‘Avatar’, with a heavy heart, we’ll have to say that we found Cameron’s highly anticipated, expensive motion picture ‘Avatar’ not living up to our expectations.
Many who have seen the film have an opinion that since so much time (10 years), effort and sweat has gone into creating stereoscopic 3D effects for the film, and combining live and computer animation, one ought to appreciate it. True as it might be, at the end of the day, if a film fails to establish an emotional connect with the audiences, no effects whatsoever can salvage it or make it special.
Coming to the story, Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) is an ex-marine who is forced into participating in Avatar program. The program is setup by humans and comprises of encroaching a distant moon Pandora as it has an abundance of precious minerals on its land. However, getting hold of Pandora won’t be easy as humans can’t breathe on it. Also, the warrior Na’vi tribe resides in it.

Marking the first anniversary of the November 26 terror attacks, the city police today held a parade here and paid homage to those killed in the dastardly strikes.
Maharashtra’s counter terror unit, Force One, and Quick Response Teams (QRT) participated in the parade that began from the Nariman Point area, which is just a stone throw away from Trident hotel, one of the places attacked by the terrorists last year.
Besides, advanced combat vehicles and other weaponry procured post 26/11 attacks were also displayed.
Chief Minister Ashok Chavan and Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal were also present at the event.
The parade ended at Girguam-Chowpatty in south Mumbai.

Speaking to the reporters Dr. Ashok Chopra, her father and a doctor revealed, "My daughter has gone on a well-deserved break. I cannot disclose the location, but she has gone eastwards. My wife and I will join her after five or six days."
As for her health her close pals state that the actress is doing so well in the industry and also added, "Priyanka’s health is better now and she is happy with the way ‘Kaminey’ has rocked on the blockbuster. She needed to be away from B- town. She had earlier been on a couple of short breaks, but for the first time in her six years in Bollywood, she will be gone for more than two weeks."

Shilpa Shetty is all set to pay tribute to her co-contestant from Big Brother Jade Goody, whose antics bought Shilpa loads of fame.

During the Celebrity Big Brother show aired in 2007, Goody made fun of Shilpa by branding her as, “Shilpa Poppa-dom” and now Shilpa in the memory of late Goody is launching some healthy food which includes Poppadoms.

A source says, “Shilpa thinks Jade will have a little chuckle in heaven about the poppadoms. She has been inundated with requests for her curry recipe and one day she just thought, ‘Why don’t I just create my own range?’ One of Shilpa’s passions in life is healthy living so she wanted to incorporate that into her dishes.”

A tired and exhausted Amitabh Bachchan has finally started enjoying a good and compulsory vacation. His friend Amar Singh’s poor health has impelled Mr Bachchan to take a past due break from his occupation. From what it looks like, he is in no frame of mind to return to labour in a scurry either.
Mr Bachchan is very clear about one thing he is in Singapore to be with his friend, not for work purposes.
