According to industry insiders, Rakesh Roshan was keen to cast Katrina Kaif opposite his son but due to her unavailability, he turned to Deepika Padukone. Rakesh Roshan wished to cast a new face opposite his son but he need not have to be worry because Deepika would also be paired first time opposite Hrithik.

Hrithik Roshan appeared recently at an event in a completely different avatar. The actor has grown long hair and beard for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish. He plays a paraplegic in the movie and acquires to have this particular look.

Hrithik has grown his hair really long and also has his beard grown. While making public appearances he normally gels up his facial fuzz but has the long hair look.

"Neither Hrithik nor his director wanted use of any artificial hair. They wanted to have a natural look and one will see Hrithik with this look till the shooting is on for the movie," adds the source.

Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan was so moved after meeting people affected with paraplegia while researching for his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Guzaarish’ that he has decided to help them in whatever way he can.

Hrithik is playing a paraplegic in ‘Guzaarish’ and met patients to be able to get under the skin of his character. While meetings the patients helped him understand his character better, it also left a deep impact on his mind.

‘Hrithik is taking his role very seriously and has been reading a lot on paraplegia and watching videos to understand and study their mannerisms and behaviour. In fact, he even visited several people affected by the disease to get a first hand account of their experiences,’ said a source close to the actor.

‘The intensive study and frequent interactions with people suffering from the disorder have moved Hrithik to a great extent. He came across some young, talented people who were left incapacitated due to paraplegia and he immediately decided to do his bit to help them,’ added the source.

Hrithik Roshan has a rocking last couple of years with the success of films like Dhoom 2 and Jodhaa Akbar still echoing at the box office. However, another reason the last few years have been rather interesting for him is because of his new opted role in fatherhood. Speaking to Subhash K Jha the actor talked about how he disciplined his kids, what they love to do as they grow up and most importantly how does he manage his time with them.
The actor began by a regret for not having spent as much time as he would have liked with his youngest son Hridaan who is now 14 months old. "I’ve been shooting most of the time. I’ve hardly had time to be with him. Hridaan smiles at everything and everyone. He’s quite a smiley baby," the actor said.
If you’re wondering what the oldest son Hrehaan is up to then it seems that he’s taking to his daddy’s ways and being the superhero of the household! The actor was proud to boast about his son crazy life when he said, "Sometimes for half a day Hrehaan is Krrish and for the other half of the day he is Spiderman or Superman. So he’s flying around the house all day." In addition he said that no overly needed rules are imposed on Hrehaan and he’s allowed to go as crazy as possible given some limits like putting all the toys back when he’s done.

Even when he was just a one-and-a-half year old and he banged the DVD player, I reasoned rather than shouted at him."

If the answer is yes, then I’m on. For Kites, I can give both my arms. On second thoughts, he says, "Considering what I went through with my knees, I take that back. Nothing matters more than your health. Now when I pray for my sons, I pray for their good health."

Tatoo artist, Sameer confirms the news, “Yes, Hrithik has got Susanne’s name tattooed on his wrist. We had discussed it earlier and he had asked me to work on an apt design when he and Susanne got a (six-point star) tattoo done from me a few months ago. Hrithik got the tattoo done while Susanne wasn’t in India. We had several meetings at his residence to finalise how the tattoo will look. I chose a font called Elvish, which is unique. Hrithik liked it a lot too. It was great to see how co-operative he was, carefully following all the instructions before and after the tattoo. He was like a child, extremely thrilled after the tattoo was done and couldn’t wait to show it to Susanne.”

Rakesh Roshan was planning to make Krrish 2, a sequel of Krrish, but it seems that the film is kept aside for a while as no good script is coming in front. Also actor Hrithik Roshan is hesitating to work with director Rakyesh Om Prakash Mehra after his recent disaster Delhi-6. Mehra was supposed to direct Krrish 2.

“The Roshans have been working on several script ideas for Krrish 2 but nothing could be finalised. They could not zero in on any one script and whatever was remotely finalised, was not approved by either Rakesh or Hrithik. The idea has now taken a back seat as Rakyesh Mehra, who was finalised to direct the sequel, delivered a turkey in Delhi-6. Hrithik was in two minds about working with Mehra and Rakesh Roshan had made it clear that he does not want to direct Krrish 2. They have altogether dropped the plans to make the sequel. Currently, Rakesh Roshan is looking for a fresh subject with a global appeal as he wants Hrithik to be an international star,” said the source.

When asked to Rakesh Roshan, he said, “Right now, I am not thinking of anything till Kites releases. Only after that will I decide on what to make next.”

Hrithik’s looks have stunned Latin American distributors, who have seen the rushes of his upcoming flick Kites ‘coz they believe he resembles Jesus Christ.

After having a dekko at Hrithik’s perfect features in Kites, most distributors believe that he is the perfect person to play the role of Jesus Christ.

Hrithik’s father Rakesh says, “A lot of people did mention that Hrithik’s looks are suited for the western market. But I didn’t catch the comment on him bearing a resemblance to Christ. It was not possible for me to keep track of everything said and heard.

The talk pertains to Rakesh Roshan’s ambitious venture Kites, which is confirmed for a Diwali release (October 16). But a section of the industry feels that the film wouldn’t make it on the scheduled date since the international version isn’t ready yet.
