No doubt that Kareena Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor will make the greatest pairing in Bollywood but to see them romancing each other is not at all possible since Ranbir Kapoor is the first cousin of Kareena Kapoor.

Bebo said in an interview that Ranbir is a great actor but there is no chance of casting opposite him as they share a brother-sister relationship.

In a new film to be directed by Imtiaz Ali, at first Kareena was decided opposite Ranbir but later Ashtavinayak Productions dropped the idea considering the relationship that they share. But Bebo was not totally dropped from the film, if not Ranbir, she will be paired opposite another heartthrob of Bollywood Imran Khan.

Bollywood actors often describe their shooting schedule as a picnic. But “cold and depressing” is what Saif Ali Khan has to say about the US shoot of “Kurbaan”, speaking for not just himself but also girlfriend and co-star Kareena Kapoor.

“Kurbaan was hard work. Period. In fact, the Philadelphia schedule was plain hell. It wasn’t anything like a picnic shooting for the film,” shudders Saif, who is glad that the film is complete and ready for release.

Saif says, “It gets dark there at 4 p.m. itself. Moreover, it’s so cold and at minus 10 degrees it can actually get really depressing. Since we were shooting in sync sound, it was extremely difficult to get the pitch and tone right while delivering our dialogues.”

The film by Rensil D’Souza also stars Vivek Oberoi, Dia Mirza, Om Puri and Kirron Kher and will be released Nov 20.

It was during the shoot of the film that Saif and Kareena got news of the terror attack in Mumbai last year. “Because of that, it was so difficult to concentrate on the film’s shoot. Thankfully, Bebo (Kareena Kapoor) was there with me at that time but still both of us were very depressed,” says Saif.

Saif and Kareena are the hottest Bollywood couple and for long directors were waiting to lift up their sizzling chemistry. Finally, director Rensil D’Silva got the opportunity and he shot a sizzling hot bed scene with the couple. The first look as well as the promo showed the pair in topless and making love. As the promo of ‘Kurbaan’ is on, the response seems to be fabulous. By showcasing, Saif and Kareena’s sizzling chemistry, the film has gathered enormous popularity. One could hardly spot Vivek Oberoi in the promo who is also playing a crucial role in the film.
Director Rensil D’Silva has made full use of the off-screen chemistry of the couple on screen, giving no hint that Vivek too portrays an important role.
Vivek accepted the ignorance and did not utter a word. He has really worked hard for his comeback but finally did not get notice. During the film shoot, he spoke about the film but with the release of the promo, he shut his mouth.

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor, who strutted down the ramp for her friend Manish Malhotra’s bridal collection at the ongoing HDIL India Couture Week here with her boyfriend Saif Ali Khan, says it was a very special show for her.

“I have walked the ramp so many times in the past for my friend Manish, but this was different and very special because for the first time I was walking with Saif. It’s always a special feeling to be with him,” Kareena told IANS after the show.

Added Saif: “Yeah, it was a lot of fun. We had fun during rehearsals as well.”

While sashaying down the ramp Kareena kept looking at the audiences smilingly while Saif managed to keep a poker face.

So far we’ve heard horror stories of Salman Khan’s misbehaviour with his leading ladies. But Kareena Kapoor has a different story to tell.

“Salman has always been very protective. He has been there for me whenever I needed him. That’s partly to do with the fact that my sister Karisma is very close friends with Salman and also his favourite co-star,” Kareena, who features with him in “Main Aurr Mrs Khanna”, told IANS.

Just how caring Salman can be was proven to Kareena when they were shooting a romantic song on the Phi Phi Beach in Thailand for his home production “Main Aur Mrs Khanna”, releasing Friday.

The beach is not sandy but pebbled. And Kareena had to go barefeet into the water with Salman. But before she could reach even halfway, she cut her foot badly on a sharp pebble.

“Kareena doubled up in pain and almost fell to the ground. Salman reflexively reached for her and swooped her into his arms. And he carried her to the water,” said a source.

The shot has been retained, although it was never meant to be part of the film.

Kareena Kapoor has refused to shoot for Satish Kaushik’s Milenge Milenge with Shahid Kapoor, for the two new songs recorded by Himesh.

A source close to Kareena says, “Kareena is more than happy to extend all cooperation to producer Boney Kapoor and director Satish Kaushik, but she won’t shoot an extra songs for the film. Shahid is a closed chapter.”

The new song recorded by Himesh is the promotional track of the movie. Shahid and Bebo have ruled out any public appearances for the publicity of the flick together.

Director Saitsh Kaushik says, “Neither Shahid nor Kareena will shoot any more for the film. We’ll use the footage that we have for the two songs in the beginning and end-titles and for the promotional video.”

Kareena Kapoor gifted her beau Saif Ali Khan, a four days secret vacation on his 39th birthday.

A source says, “Saif and Kareena always try to spend time together on each other’s birthday. But this time they had professional commitments in Houston due to Independence Day. They also had to attend a meet and greet event in Chicago. They reached Chicago late evening on August 15 to attend an event with Shah Rukh and Katrina.”

Saif and Kareena flew to an undisclosed location near Chicago to spend their vacation, “Kareena planned the four-day holiday as she wanted to surprise Saif. They don’t want to reveal the location and will be back in Mumbai only by the end of this week,” adds the source.

Well it’s not her darling beau Saif Ali Khan, but her Yoga teacher whom she would like to see first in the morning. It’s a Yoga time for Kareena. Her morning starts with fruit plate followed by yoga.

“Until the yoga session, I don’t answer phones or even ask for itinerary schedule of the day,” says Bebo.

She enthusiastically confesses if the yoga teacher is the first person she sees in the morning then Saif is the last she would love to see at night.
