A very funny looking Saif Ali Khan has been doing the rounds on tabloids – a still of him under a pagdi.
Looks like Saif Ali Khan has joined the long queue of actors who have taken some obvious inspiration from box office Midas Akshay Kumar ala Singh is Kinng.
The long line of actors includes Salman Khan under the pagdee for Samir Karnik’s multi-starrer Heroes and Ranbir Kapoor under (presumably a different) pagdee for for Shimit Amit’s next film.
Saif has become a sardar for his next film that is directed by Imtiaz Ali. Not interesting? Here’s some juice – this film will be Saif Ali Khan’s home production… and will star uber hottie Deepika PAdukone.
Deepika and Saif along with the film crew recently wrapped shooting in a bustling market of Kolkata. Reportedly, Saif will don a pagdee in a few flashback sequences of the film.
Saif hopes to have some of the box office charm that Akshay Kumar currenly possesses. After Saif’s two disasters Tashan and Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic, the audience wants to see him in better written movies. But pagdee or not, we would like to have more coverage of Deepika Padukone from the movie.
