Salman Khan’s ‘Ready’ will clash with his one time love Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ when both the movies hit theaters. Though it was known that ‘Ready’ is going to complete soon but nobody imagined that ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ would also release simultaneously on May 27, 2011. Anyway, the two movies belong to two different genres, so the audiences’ interests won’t collide, hopefully. While ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ is a fun, youthful film with Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin, ‘Ready’ is a family entertainer with Asin as Salman’s co-star. In the same way, while Akhtars’ ‘zindagi…’ will hit multiplexes as it’s urban-oriented, ‘Ready’ is largely meant for masses, and will be exhibited on single screens.

Significantly, the issue isn’t between Salman and Katrina. In fact, it concerns Salman and Hrithik! You may recall Salman’s recent taunt that "not even a dog went to see ‘Guzaarish’. And, ‘Guzaarish’ is Salman starrer. After the debacles of ‘Kites’ and ‘Guzaarish’, Hrithik must have been looking forward to a solo release but unfortunately he is now up against ‘Dabangg’ Salman. Interestingly, neither Sallu’s director Anees Bazmee nor Hrithik’s director Zoya Akhtar has come out in the open.

Isn’t it strange that the onetime love words will soon clash at the box office?

Hrithik Roshan reacted to Salman Khan’s unpleasant comment about the film ‘Guzaarish’ and the filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Salman Khan has made a spiteful comment regarding the film saying, it wasn’t even watched by dogs- “koi kutta bhi nahin gaya”. Hrithik slammed the actor for making such a raunchy remark.

The actor in reply said Salman, “It’s not heroic to laugh or make fun of a filmmaker just because his BO collections are not up there with yours. ‘Guzaarish’ is a super success in its own way. In my opinion a hero never gloats. When you are super successful, it should in fact make you more gracious and loving.”
Hrithik added that he would not tolerate any person talking bad about Bhansali.
Bhansali too spoken against Salman saying, “If such an old and trusted friend can be so insensitive I don’t want anything to do with the entertainment industry.”
But Hrithik possesses a great heart and at the next moment he forgave Sallu, he said, “This is the time one should use to turn even enemies into friends…just give love, not laugh at others. By the time I finish this sentence, I have already forgiven his words, because I know deep inside he only has love for me and this must have been just a momentary lapse of judgment. Will expect a big hug the next time I meet him”.

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan was rushed to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai, yesterday night (November 21) following an allergic reaction to an antibiotic.

Hrithik has been under medication for suspected malaria but complications started yesterday evening at around 4 pm. The actor said that his lungs and throat went into spasm due to an allergic reaction to the antibiotics. He added that he reached the hospital just on time and that even a fifteen minutes delay would prove fatal.

The actor has been unwell for for quite sometime now but he promoted his film Guzaarish tirelessly. He plays a paraplegia patient in this film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He said that he was celebrating Guzaarish in the hospital.

The good news is that the actor is under strict observation and recuperating fast in the hospital. We wish the actor a speedy recovery!

Hrithik Roshan to celebrate the birthday of wife Suzanne Roshan. The Rampal couple were not alone, close friends from the industry were also present at Hrithik’s Juhu residence to wish his wife a very happy birthday.

Every actor (or director) made sure to come fully dressed in their respective Halloween costumes. While Kunal Kapoor was dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow, Karan Johar came attired in the costume of a priest! Also spotted at the party were childhood friends Uday Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan along with wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who unfortunately were not dressed correctly for the occasion! Though Gauri Khan did make it to the event, hubby SRK remained absent. Shah Rukh is reportedly in Berlin filming the last lap of Don 2. Zoya Akhtar and Rinkie Khanna, the not-so popular faces in star parties made most of the Hrithik Roshan bash. Accompanying husband Goldie Behl was actress Sonali Bendre. And Sanjay Kapur came dressed in "Dabanng" style!

Going by the posts of several celebrities on the micro blogging site Twitter, they surely had a lovely time dressing up for the Hrithik Roshan Halloween bash. According to Arjun Rampal, it was one of the best parties he had attended.

Rakesh Roshan has taken the failure of Kites very seriously and hence planning to hit back with a sequel of 2006 hit film Krrish starring his son Hrithik Roshan.

The father son duo has given three films together till now, which includes Hrithik’s debut movie Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai then Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish. All the three movies were highly appreciated and did a good box office business.

Rakesh had planned for a sequel of Krrish earlier too but it never materialized. However, the debacle of Kites has made him work on it very seriously to make Hrithik stand tall in the top list again. The earlier plan of Krrish 2 was mainly cancelled due to the extra special effects in Avatar, which was released at the end of 2009.

According to the sources, “Roshans have already started meetings for the sequel of Krrish. They have taken the debacle of Kites very seriously. All the three films Rakesh made with his son Hrithik were big hits so they want to ensure the combination creates history again”.

The source added, “After giving those hits, Rakesh wanted to take a break from direction and start producing films. Among all these, Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra was supposed to direct Krrish 2. They conducted several meetings for this but it got dissolved”.

However, whatever be the reason, the audience will get to see their favorite Indian superhero back on the big screen. This time, it is expected to be much entertaining than the first one.

Heartthrob Hrithik Roshan is the next Bollywood celebrity to have his wax statue installed in the famous Madame Tussauds wax museum in London.

After Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai, Hrithik has reserved a spot for himself at the famous museum.

Hrithik’s statue will be installed in early 2011.

‘We began our association with the world-famous Madame Tussauds museum in 2000 when at the inaugural International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards in 2000 at the Millennium Dome, Amitabh Bachchan was announced as the first ever Indian film star to be honoured in wax,’ Andre Timmins, one of the directors of Wizcraft, told IANS.

‘Then followed a string of select Indian stars and we are very pleased that Hrithik Roshan now joins this esteemed waxed league, within a decade of entering the film industry.’

This is the first look of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next ambitious film after Saawariya. Guzaarish stars Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai. Hrithik plays a character suffering from paraplegia. Hrithik retains his Kites bearded look for the film while Aishwarya Rai’s image reminds of me of her look in Taal.

Hrithik Roshan-Barbara Mori starrer "Kites" grossed over Rs.21 crore on its opening day and has become the second highest opening-day grosser after "3 Idiots", its distributor said Saturday.
"Kites" released with 2,000 screens in India and across 500 screens overseas Friday.
The film that has been distributed by Reliance BIG Pictures is a love story between an Indian guy and a Spanish girl. Directed by Anurag Basu, the film has been produced by Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan.

Reliance BIG Pictures and Rakesh Roshan’s eagerly awaited KITES will release on 21st May in over 2,300 screens worldwide. Of these, over 1,800 screens are in India and over 500 screens overseas, making KITES the biggest ever Indian release till date globally.
