It’s Sanjay Dutt and his wife Manyata Dutt, who were recently blessed with twin babies, who have taken the innovative step to preserve their baby’s stem umbilical cord stem cells with LifeCell, India’s pioneer in stem cells domain.

The couple, who joins many other celebrities in this decision, is said to have done this to stay in connect with the latest trends in healthcare and to provide their children a secure future with a gift of lifetime.

With Sanjay Dutt signing up for this service, LifeCell has expanded its celebrity clientele portfolio with Bollywood actors like Hrithik Roshan, Raveena Tandon, Madhavan and many others having preserved their child’s stem cells with LifeCell.

Rejoicing the moment, actor Sanjay Dutt, said, "We feel truly blessed with our double bundle of joy. When Manyata was pregnant we came to know about stem cell banking and the potential it holds for the future. Many of our friends have also opted for this service and hence we decided to go for it. We were referred that LifeCell are the leaders in this segment and their impressive track record was a perfect choice to trust and bank our babies’.

It seems that the next season of Dus Ka Dum will not feature Salman Khan as the host. In fact, the original host has been replaced by Sanjay Dutt after the Sony Television was unable to come to an amicable deal with Salman. And this will bring Sanjay to the small screen for the first time. All the finer details are yet to be worked out but according to sources, it was the Bachchans who convinced Dutt to seriously consider the offer. After carefully looking at Amitabh Bachchan’s television stint thus far, he realized this would be a great opportunity for him to venture out.
After negotiations with Salman Khan fell through with the channel stating "irreconcilable financial differences," the Sony TV quickly found themselves looking for viable host choices. Up for consideration included Anil Kapoor too. "We’ve also been in very serious discussions with Anil Kapoor. Neither Sanjay Dutt nor Anil has done television before. That’s what places them above Salman Khan in our list of hosts," a source from the channel stated. In fact Anil was the first choice but had to forego the show since the actor would be shooting for Mission Impossible 4. And thus, Sanjay Dutt was finalized.
Dutt and the channel have chosen to remain hush on the amount per episode he would make. Instead they went on to say, "We’re just happy to have him on board. At any cost."

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt met Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi Monday to discuss a proposal to set up a film city in the state.

Dutt was with the chief minister for over an hour and later told reporters that the project was still at the proposal stage.

The chief minister is reported to have suggested Kutch as the location for the proposed film city.

Dutt said no final decision has been taken about either the location or the investment.

Gujarat is emerging as a hot destination for Bollywood players as actors Shatrughan Sinha, Anupam Kher, Raveena Tandon and Paresh Raval have also met the chief minister in connection with film-related projects.

Sanjay Dutt has a tattoo fetish. He has at least five on his body and has gone for another one – this time two samurai soldiers inked one below the other on his right arm.

One soldier is inked in black and white, while the other is colourful and there are Japanese flowers falling over them.

According to a source, these soldiers symbolise that all through his life the actor has fought like a samurai and was never bogged down by the hardships.

As expected, the tattoo is done by Vishwas Dorwekar of Hakim Aalim’s salon.

There is a strong buzz going around in the industry circles that Ajay Devgan, who wants to release All The Best, is planning to shell out Rs 50 lakhs if he wants his film to hit the theatres on October 16, the same day as Aladin, Blue and Main aur Mrs Khanna. Even a few tabloids have reported this today. However, this decision has not gone down well with Sanjay Dutt who stars along with Ajay in the comic caper All The Best directed by Rohit Shetty.

Reveals our source, “Sanjay Dutt already has two major releases Blue and Aladin this year lined up on the same date, October 16th during Diwali. Now he is in no mood to have a third release on the same day too. He is very upset with Ajay Devgan and is discouraging him from releasing the movie on Diwali.”

Anthony D’Souza’s Blue will see Sanjay Dutt in an action role where as in Aladin he will be seen as the bad guy called Ringmaster. Both the scheduled films are big budget starrers and Sanjay Dutt does not want to take any chances with them. He has been banking on these films for quite some time now, especially after a hit-less two years.

This is a star-studded episode of 10 Ka Dum. The Khan Brothers, Arbaaz and Sohail Khan, are back to join Salman once again this season– but this time to promote their film Kisaan. Producer Sohail Khan came along with his cast Arbaaz, Dia Mirza, Nauheed Cyrusi and Jackie Shroff. There is a special guest too– Sanjay Dutt. Jackie and Sanju are the celebrity contestants in this episode, which shows the rare camaraderie between the three handsome heroes. All three share candid moments with Salman.

While Sanjay Dutt is in a mood to share some very personal thoughts of the most difficult times in his life- the drug phase, times when he would get intoxicated and sleep endlessly much to the dismay of his late father Sunil Dutt or the jail days; Salman too shared his experience in jail. Jackie, the eldest of the three, sang, danced and advised all the impressionable young people out there to not follow the wrong path– there’s a heavy price to pay for it!

On his 50th birthday on Wednesday, Bollywood’s troubled star Sanjay Dutt says his only wish is to leave his chequered past behind and move ahead as a free man.

"In the last 18 years, I’ve been fighting for my freedom and I feel the burden of the struggle now. I want to be free," Sanjay told IANS from Cape Town, South Africa.

"I want to walk into any consulate and get my visa. I want my passport to be with me. I want to visit any country I want. Most important of all I want the court cases to end," added the actor who battled with drug addiction and was also convicted in the 1993 Mumbai blasts under the arms act.

He says now he wishes for his "freedom".

"Can you gift me my freedom for my birthday? Otherwise the biggest gift god has given me is my wife Manyata. I’m very lucky to have her by my side," said the actor who is currently in Cape Town shooting "No Problem"

Friends from different parts of the world have flown in to celebrate the day and Sanjay says he also wanted his sisters – Namrata and Priya – to join him on this special day in his life.

"I’ve invited them. The day I turn 50 is important for me. And I’d like my family to be near me. I wish they could be here. No matter what misunderstandings we had, I’d like to wash them away on my 50th birthday."

Now that elections are over, our very own Sanjubaba has finally come down to mother earth. He’s now back to his cinematic commitments. And Suniel Shetty just couldn’t thank his stars enough for that. Dutt has promised to give good friend Suniel all the dates he requires as soon as possible.

A little birdie tells me, "After elections Sanjay has started giving dates to the films which are pending (obviously because of his political stint). Sanjay has already started shooting for All The Best. He has also confirmed his dates with Suniel for Mukti. He will start shooting for this film very soon."

Better late than never, I say! Ever since Dutt had started thinking of politics, his filmmakers had to bear the brunt of it. He had been delaying all the projects like forever now. First it was Rahul Dholakia’s Lamhaa then Rohit Shetty’s All The Best and then K Sera Sera’s Mukti. Apparently Mukti is complete except for of course Sanjay’s portions. The makers were even keen on replacing the actor. But then Suniel stood up for his friend and refused to shoot without Sanjubaba.

Well, looks like it’s about time Sanjubaba showed his gratitude!

Apparently, Sanjay is very good with the instruments and with just one rehearsal he gave the perfect take in the first shot itself!
