The beautiful actress now reveals some of her secrets on Twitter. Shilpa has been known to give fitness and health tips there and looks like they made her pretty famous on this particular social networking site too.

This morning itself, based on popular demand she tweeted stating, “Go Organic instead of Processed n frozen foods as much as poss (possible). If u still do, read the bak(back) of the pkt(packet) to c(see) the contents..become aware!”

Shilpa who is a complete foodie, claims that she follows a disciplined and a proper diet plan. She works out, meditates and follows a yoga regime to stay in shape. In fact, Shilpa had produced a video of her own named Shilpa’s Yoga back in 2008. The DVD consisted of a 2 hour video wherein Shilpa explained the correct ways to perform yoga aasanas. The suave actress had also featured on the cover of Shape magazine.

The recently held DNA Style Awards was attended by the stylish Bollywood folks who were awarded for their perfect style sense. Shilpa Shetty wore a silver and pink sari which she paired with a silver Leiber minaudiere. Sonam Kapoor wore a vintage Victor Costa dress along with ankle booties.

Sushmita Sen who also won the style award stuck to her comfortable black zone. Shahid Kapoor sported a casual do and also swept away a style award for his fashion sense.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty who is back from her honeymoon from the Bahamas with London-based businessman husband Raj Kundra is still on holiday mode. She is preparing to celebrate Christmas in London and New Year on a cruise in the Mediterranean.

“Back to reality, the last couple of weeks felt like a dream — from the sunny Bahamas back in London for the last couple of days… There’s no place like London when it comes to celebrating Christmas,” Shilpa posted on her blog shilpashettylive.com/blog/ Saturday.

“Really excited about the Mediterranean cruise we are taking with the family, my first ever making it even more special. I will be out at sea for the next two weeks… Will be bringing in New Year on the ship,” she added.

“Here’s wishing everyone a merry Christmas and a fantastic love filled, healthy and prosperous New Year ahead,” she wrote.

Shilpa Shetty-Kundra – that’s how she wants to be known now – feels she’s on top of the world. “Thank God, I plan to get married only once! This has been the most exhausting week of my life .

And also the happiest. I’ve waited so long for my wedding. Outwardly, the only thing that’s different is the choodas, and the way I’m dressed. Inside me, everything feels the same. I’ve known Raj for so long that it feels no different otherwise,” says the not-so-blushing bride!

“I have a severe jaw ache from all the smiling at the reception. Now I know why my colleagues avoid wedding receptions! It really does get impossible to manage the entire crowd,” she adds. Apparently, there were more gatecrashers at the reception than guests. “At the wedding too, there were people climbing trees and walls to take photographs,” Shilpa giggles. “But it was a far more intimate, private and controlled affair than the reception. Shamita kept saying that she felt she was part of a Punjabi wedding sequence from a movie!”
After her effervescent laughter finally subsides, Shilpa says soberly, “The wedding was very traditional and simple. I felt I was going through a dream. My marriage was exactly the way I had imagined it.” The Kundras will now leave for their honeymoon, followed by a Mediterranean cruise for the entire family. Says Shilpa happily, “We’re going to the Bahamas for our honeymoon. Then after we return, Raj is taking our entire family, all the Shettys and the Kundras, on a Mediterranean cruise for Christmas. He thought everyone needed a break.”

And where does Mrs Kundra plan to live now, Mumbai, or London? “I have to get acquainted with Raj’s circle of friends in London, get used to socialising with them.Yes, we’ll have two homes now. In any case, I was always travelling to and fro. Now I’ll be doing this even more! I have my film-production company in Mumbai. So I can’t be in London only.”
Talk about motherhood, and Shilpa’s all eager, “Oh yes! I certainly want to be a mother. I can’t wait to start our family.”

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra had a grand wedding and gave an equally grand reception yesterday and invited the whole Bollywood fraternity. Shilpa wore a indo-western dress by designer Tarun Tahiliani, Raj also wore a black Shantanu-Nikhil sherwani. Shilpa’s jewelry has been designed by Anmol Jewelers.

Raj Kundra will most likely whisk Bollywood Actress Shilpa Shetty away to the Bahamas for their honeymoon after the couple weds on November 22, 2009 and have reception November 24, 2009.

The couple’s honeymoon plans are strictly off-limits at this very moment. According to a Bollywood Source close to the couple, Shilpa Shetty has said that, “Raj plans fantastic vacations” and this is one holiday he wants Shilpa to remember forever

Though Shilpa Shetty knows Raj has booked the Regal Suite for them at the Atlantis resort in the Paradise Islands at the Bahamas, everything else is a surprise for Shilpa. ‘Raj is arranging everything’ added Shilpa.

Shilpa and Raj will get married at Kiran Bawa’s farmhouse in Khandala and will hold a grand reception in Mumbai after which they will fly down to the Oneness Temple near Chennai to seek the blessings of Sri Amma and Sri Bhagwan.

After spending a few days there, the couple will fly off to the Bahamas for their honeymoon.

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra will move into a new place in a high-rise in front of the Bachchans’ residence Jalsa in Juhu after their marriage Nov 22.

The apartment, owned by filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani, is a temporary arrangement as the couple’s dream nest isn’t ready yet. Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan’s interior designer wife Sussanne is busy doing up their house in Juhu; they will shift into their own home in February or March.

The actress is happy that Raj has decided to move his base from London to Mumbai.

“Shilpa is really, really happy about that Raj Kundra is shifting permanently to Mumbai after marriage. The thought of a long-distance marriage was killing Shilpa. She knew it would be impractical. At the same time she would’ve been left with no choice if Raj had insisted on being Britain based,” said Shilpa’s friend.

Soon after the wedding, Shilpa and Raj will leave for the Lord Venkateshwara temple in Tirupati and then to the Oneness University in Chennai to take the blessings of Shilpa’s spiritual guru Sri Amma.

“It was Sri Amma who had predicted that Shilpa will get married this year. She almost did earlier this year. Now it’s finally happening,” said the friend.

Shilpa Shetty is doing a perfect job balancing her career and personal life these days. Even as the date of her marriage to NRI businessman Raj Kundra draws closer, the leggy actress has been busy with the shooting of her new film -Desire.
"The past week has been full of meetings, meetings and more meetings, since I’m shooting in Hyderabad, everything had to be done before I’d left for this schedule. In the mid of Odissi rehearsals (can you believe it! ’cause I am shooting for a song here, ha ha!), guests list, hotel arrangements, wedding planners, trousseau outfits, the list is never ending," she writes on her blog.

"The last two weeks have only gone into preparations. It was a huge decision and there were a lot of logistical problems mainly because of lack of time and venues… Now all that’s in order, I can breathe a sigh of relief. There’s a lot of work to be done and I will be shooting and dubbing till a week before the wedding," she adds.

The actress claims she is going through mixed feelings.

"Got to finish all work commitments before I leave for a month after the wedding. C’est la vie! To all those who want to know how I am feeling, I just want to say – I’m going through a lot of mixed feelings – happiness, excitement, nervousness, just like any bride to be and sadness as well, I miss my sister and hoping that she’ll be out soon in my last few days at home," she adds.

Shilpa Shetty, who is marrying London-based Raj Kundra Nov 22, is facing pre-nuptial blues. She admits she is Raj Kundra with experiencing "mixed feelings" as the D-day draws near.

"To all those who want to know how I am feeling, I just want to say I’m going through a lot of mixed feelings – happiness, excitement, nervousness, just like any bride to be and sadness as well," Shilpa posted on her blog. The 34-year-old actress is tying the knot with businessman Raj Kundra, whom she has been dating since 2007.

"Honestly it still hasn’t sunk in completely, it’s a strange emotion, can’t describe it. The only consolation is that I’m tying the knot with Raj – a man who lets me be myself and doesn’t want me or my life to change and that erases premarital jitters," she said. "Obviously marriage is a huge step and with it come responsibilities, and since I believe in the institution, so I hope and pray that I can make ours a success."

Shilpa says she has been busy with the wedding preparations for the past two weeks but is also trying hard to fulfill her professional commitments so that she can set out for a one-month honeymoon with Raj after the wedding. She is currently shooting in Hyderabad for the last schedule of Indo-Chinese project "Desire".

"I’m shooting in Hyderabad, everything had to be done before I’d left for this schedule. In the midst of Odissi rehearsals (can you believe it! Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty says that her wedding date has been finalized, but she will announce it only when her sister Shamita is by her side.

“I know everyone’s eager to know about the wedding date. All I can say is yes it’s been finalised and I will make an official announcement as soon as I know when Shamita’s coming out,” Shilpa, who got engaged to London-based Raj Kundra Saturday after a courtship of about two years, posted on her blog.

Shamita is currently participating in the Colors’ reality show “Bigg Boss 3?. She is locked in the house with 10 more inmates and has no connection with the world outside.

Shilpa says she missed her sister.

“It’s been a time of both joy and sorrow for me. The joy is obvious because Raj and I feel happy to take our relationship to the next level, but as most of you know my sister Shamita is still in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house and could not attend. She doesn’t even know.

“The date was decided a week ago and we all came to the consensus that we should go ahead because another good mahurat (auspicious time) was a long way off. And considering Raj’s parents and relatives were down from London for a week, so it seemed convenient,” she wrote.

“I wanted to have Shamita there during this special moment, but I had to be considerate towards Raj’s family too. So for all those who wanted to know why I went ahead without Shamita, it was a difficult decision but this is the answer.”

Shilpa admits that when her sister comes out of “Bigg Boss” house, the news of the engagement will shock her.
