Bollywood has declared war on ‘Curry Bashing’. After Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, stars like Mallika Sherawat, Vidya Balan and Vivek Oberoi are now becoming vocal in their support for tormented Indian students in Australia. Mallika, in Los Angeles to finish work on the serpent movie Hissss, has this to say on Twitter: “Re Australia: racism is for losers! Eradicate ignorance and racism will cease to exist.Vidya Balan too is upset by the wave of hate crimes in Melbourne and Sydney that have left many Indian students like Sourabh Sharma, Shravan Kumar and Baljinder Singh grievously injured. It’s despairing to know that Indians living in Australia are being targeted and attacked on racial grounds.
I am deeply disturbed by these incidents,” she says.According to Vivek Oberoi, racism needs to be condemned, no matter where or in whatever form it occurs. “Whether it happens in India, Australia or for that matter anywhere in the world, racism is bad. There is no place for racial discrimination in a liberal and democratic society. It’s a condemnable act,” he says. Acknowledging Bollywood’s warm and cordial relations with Australia where several blockbusters like Salaam Namaste and Bachna Ae Haseeno have been shot in recent times, actor Tusshar Kapoor feels the authorities there need to do much more to protect Indian citizens. “Australia has always been a favourite location for our films.
We have contributed so much to the Australian tourism and hospitality industries. It is only fair that the Australian government makes much more strident efforts to protect the life and limb of every Indian living in that country,” he insists.

Kareena Kapoor is the proud owner of a 17-inch steel grey Apple MacBook Pro laptop, gifted to her by beau Saif Ali Khan. The actress has been carrying her new laptop with her everywhere, and has been spotted surfing the net, and playing online games. She says, “Till last year, I wasn’t very net-savvy but today, I can’t do without my MacBook Pro. It’s all thanks to Saif who has taught me about the Internet and it’s joys. When I was looking to upgrade my last laptop (a Lenovo also gifted by Saif last year), Saif bought me the MacBook from London. Now I do everything on my laptop — from checking out my email and photo-shoot pictures to my endorsements like I recently saw my Kurkure ad before it hit the screens.
Kareena prefers this model as she can use it for editing her reading matter. ‘I can do so much more and faster. I see images sharper and clearer. When I was in New York for my shoot, I saw my cover shots on my laptop.” Kareena reads her emails on her laptop but she’s not a member of Facebook or any other social networking website, “I like to be selective and not available to all, as I am a very private person. I can send messages to Saif on my cellphone; why would I need to do that on Facebook?”
Bebo has seen some of the rushes of Saif’s home production Love Aaj Kal on his computer. “The film is gorgeous — I loved it. It’s so emotional, funny, cute and touching. I feel Saif, Imtiaz, and Deepika will go five steps ahead with this film.”

Well even I didn’t believe that this man in the above snap is the famous Big B, but yes it is Amitabh Bachchan all decked up for his character in his upcoming flick Pa.
Amitabh’s look was a much guarded secret, and his make-up was done by a foreign make-up artist taking 4-5 hours daily to make Big B look like this.
The film is about a man who goes on getting old at a rapid speed and his father in the movie is Abhishek Bachchan.
Well looks quite interesting. So folks how do you like AB’s new look?

Where there is will there is a way. And Salman Khan out to prove it right. It so happened that top officials of Indian Dental Association made a visit to Salman’s house last week to invite him as the guest of honour for the World No Tobacco Day event on May 31. While Salman was sincere enough to say that he would not be the right choice for the event as he himself is a smoker, he left the officials mighty impressed not just with his hospitality but with his knowledge. Dr Rajeev Chitguppi who was amongst the officials to meet Salman recalled the meeting to us.
Salman said, “We keep abusing our body with all sorts of bad habits. And the body needs regular flushing to maintain the vitality. Regular workouts, yoga and breathing exercises help. I have started with Yoga as well as a daily round of breathing exercises that have really begun showing their effects. I am planning to quit smoking. For those who are serious about planning to quit smoking, there are medicines available that can help people quit it. Just go for it and get rid of the habit.”
Salman further added, “I have always sent a positive message to the youth to stay healthy and all these years I have instructed all the journalists and photographers not to take my smoking pictures and publish them and I am happy that they have respected my request. I want to remain a positive influence on the youth.”

“Slumdog Millionaire” star Freida Pinto expressed a desire to work with Bollywood’s talented filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar and the director says he is flattered and the he would “love to work with her”.
It all started when Freida in an interview to the international press said that she would do a Bollywood film only if it was a Bhandarkar film.
“I’m quite flattered to hear Freida wants to work with me. I think she is aware of my female-oriented cinema. She must have seen the performances that Tabu and Konkona Sen Sharma gave in ‘Chandni Bar’ and ‘Page 3′. I’d love to work with Freida,” Bhandarkar told IANS.
Bhandarkar is currently busy shooting for “Jail” with Neil Nitin Mukesh and Mugdha Godse.

There seems to be no end to the lengths Priyanka Chopra would go for fun’s sake. Be it performing stunts in front of the camera or even without! Priyanka who is known for her bold stunts goes at it one more time.
Reports indicate that Ms. Chopra who is filming for her upcoming ‘Pyaar Impossible’ in Bangkok had a field day at the swimming pool of her hotel recently. The actress made a four-storey dip into the 40-feet swimming pool sending shockwaves through the filming crews. But this time she did it just for fun while the camera was not running.
The same stunt was copied by the hero of the film, Uday Chopra, who ended up paying a price. He ended up injuring his hands. Mr. Chopra we have an advice for ya. Do not try to copy Ms. Impossible!
‘Pyaar Impossible’ that sees the handsome and talented Jugal Hansraj in the director’s chair has Uday Chopra and Priyanka Chopra as the lead pair. Uday gets to play a nerdy, socially-challenged geek in the film while Priyanka gets to do the beauty’s role.
The film which went on floors last April is a Yash Raj venture.

Katrina Kaif is doubtlessly beautiful and sexy. But searching for her on the Internet could be dangerous.
That’s not us claiming, but a report titled ‘The Web’s Most Dangerous Search Terms’ released by computer security provider McAfee Inc.
According to the report, ‘Katrina Kaif’ is one of the most dangerous online search words in India. Browsers searching for queries related to her name can come up with results that may have links to malicious software.
And given the fact that Katrina is one of the most searched celebs in Bollywood, the threat is all the more aggravated.
The McAfee reports says the search word Katrina Kaif has a maximum risk percentage of 28.6, meaning that a net user might encounter 28.6 percent of risky websites on a single page of the search results.
In fact, the report labels ‘Katrina Kaif’ as more dangerous search keyword than ‘Wapstick,’ which is a popular website for free downloads.
Among Indian actresses, Namitha is another celeb whose name figures among the high-risk keywords.
So be cautious next time you search for these hotties on the net. You might end up with a hung, if not infected, computer.

No sooner are there rumours of a relationship in trouble, the errant partner scurries to his/her ‘better’ half and tries too hard to prove that all’s well between them. A case in point is volatile couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s PDA in Cannes recently. Following the same pattern closer home are Hrithik-Sussane, Katrina-Salman and John-Bipasha.
As soon as people started talking about the Katrina-John affair, Ms Kaif ran into Mr Khan’s arms, while Mr Abraham plans to visit Goa to spend time with Ms Basu.
In order to make the ‘we are made for each other’ statement, Katrina, who is rarely seen with beau Salman, spent nearly five hours with him on Sunday. Salman was shooting for the title track of his film Wanted Dead or Alive at Film City.
Sources from the sets said, "Katrina arrived on the sets at 4.30pm. She was dressed in a pair of white jeans and a green top. The surprising part is that she did not confine herself to Salman’s vanity van but accompanied him around the sets. She even gave some suggestions in between shots. Later, she also spent some time with Boney Kapoor, Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Arjun Kapoor. She was with Salman while he was having dinner. Salman also lovingly fed her some dessert. It was 9.30pm when Salman took Katrina to her car. Katrina went directly to the airport as she was going to Malaysia to shoot for a shampoo ad."
Boney Kapoor confirmed and said, "Katrina had dinner with us and was on the sets until we packed up."
"Salman and Katrina looked very comfortable together. She looked very happy to be with Salman," added the source.
Commenting on the couple, a still photographer said, "Katrina is quite uncomfortable posing with Salman even at formal events.
Guess the rumours about her link-up with other actors prompted her to make an appearance on his sets.”

Rakesh Roshan is all set to make the sequel to his last flick Krissh after he gets over with his current project Kites.
A source reveals, “After the success of ‘Krrish’, the Roshans decided to go ahead with the sequel of the movie. Their first priority was to finish with ‘Kites’ and then work on ‘Krrish 2’. ‘Kites’ is almost done and is in the post-production stage. Rakesh Roashan`s production house FilmKraft is working on ‘Krrish 2’. They are at an infant stage and still working on script and the star cast, but it obviously includes Hrithik as the actor.”
“The layout of the script is ready and it will see Hrithik in a superhero avatar once again. He will be seen saving the Seven Wonders of the World, so naturally the film will be shot extensively at various foreign locations. Hrithik will undergo physical training once again for the role. Like the prequel, this too will have SFX and a big crew of foreign technicians.”
Deepika is slated to play the role of Hrithik’s love interest in Krissh 2.

The grapevine has been abuzz with news that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will play the villain in Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) action-adventure series Dhoom 3 but a source from the production company has denied any such development.
"This story is completely untrue and baseless. We have no idea where this rubbish originated but like all wildfires has spread rapidly," Vice President (marketing and communications) of YRF Rafiq Gangjee, told IANS.
The rumours that Shah Rukh would soon follow in the footsteps of Hrithik Roshan by playing a villain opposite actor Abhishek Bachchan in the Dhoom series began when British news website femalefirst.co.uk first reported it.
According to the article which was published on May 26, a source said,"Shah Rukh had been approached by the banner to play the main villain in the most successful franchise of Bollywood – the Dhoom series – and he has immediately given the nod. Last few days there has been a lot of buzz that Saif Ali Khan has signed the dotted line for the same role but it seems they were just plain rumours."
However, as per Gangjee, there is no truth in any part of the report.
