Priyanka Chopra is not only shooting for Yash Raj Films’ Pyaar Impossible in Bangkok but also reconnecting with former beau Aseem Merchant while she is there. Last week, Priyanka and Aseem were seen together in a Bangkok night club. Was it a mere coincidence or is there more to the former lovers ‘bumping’ into each other? Given the rumours of the Shahid-Priyanka relationship being in trouble, Priyanka running to Aseem for some much-needed comfort can certainly not be ruled out.
A source said, "Priyanka is shooting in Bangkok with Dino Morea and Uday Chopra for Pyaar Impossible. She is having a whale of a time and hangs out with the cast and crew of the film. They party at various night clubs after pack up. She must have bumped into Aseem, who was also in Bangkok for business purposes. They were seen spending time together in the night club."
Rewind: Priyanka and Aseem were in a relationship from 1999-2002. In fact, Priyanka stayed at Aseem’s house when she came to Mumbai for the Miss India contest in 2000. The two were together till she became a successful Bollywood actress.
Aseem Merchant confirmed that he was in Bangkok but refused to say anything about meeting Priyanka. "I was in Bangkok on a business trip. I didn’t even know she (Priyanka) was there," he said. He refused to comment further.
Priyanka’s spokesperson said, "It’s absolutely untrue."
