Tejaswini Kolhapure has been added to the cast of Mani Ratnam’s Ravan, an adaptation of the epic Ramayana, which is already making waves as the star cast includes Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Tejaswini Kolhapure is hoping that her role in Ravan will give her the big break she deserves. “Working with Mani Sir is a dream come true,” she says, “He belongs to a different school of thought, and doing a film under his guidance was both exciting and adventurous. It is a privilege to work with him.” The film stars Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Govinda and Vikram too.
The younger sister of Padmini Kolhapure, Tejaswini has another Bollywood movie in the pipeline titled Mumbai Cutting. The film Ravan is much touted for its high profile starcast that includes Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Govinda and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles.
