The Telugu movie audience is treated to an exciting film in theatres today – Tillu Square. It’s a sequel to the 2022 hit film, DJ Tillu. Directed by Mallik Ram, the romantic crime comedy stars Siddhu Jonnalagadda as Bala Gangadhar Tilak aka DJ Tillu, Anupama Parameswaran as Lily, Prince Cecil as Shannon Gonzales, Muralidhar Goud as Tillu’s father, Neha Shetty as M Radhika, CVL Narasimha Rao as Lilly’s father and Raj Tirandasu as Jonathan.
Tillu Square was released on March 29 and received mostly positive reviews. The story was penned by Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Ravi Anthony and successfully impressed the majority of the critics. Even the fans and movie-going audience have shared their positive reactions on social media platforms. It would be interesting to see how much the film earns with its theatrical run.

While the film has just been released, reports of the film’s OTT streaming and satellite rights are already out. As reported by the 123Telugu web portal, the Siddhu Jonnalagadda starrer will stream on Netflix after its theatrical release. The movie will also air on Star Maa channel.

The date when Tillu Square will stream on Netflix is not yet known. If the movie has a long theatrical run, the audience might have to wait for a long time for its arrival online. After the success of Telugu films like Hanu-Man, Guntur Kaaram, Eagle, etc, we can’t wait to see how the Siddhu Jonnalagadda starrer performs at the box office. Meanwhile, Tillu Square was announced in June 2022, four months after the first film was released. DJ Tillu was helmed by Vimal Krishna, and for the sequel, Naruda Donoruda filmmaker Mallik Ram stepped in. Bheems Ceciroleo composed the background score, and Ram Miriyala and Achu Rajamani composed the songs. Sai Prakash Ummadisingu worked as the film’s cinematographer, and Naveen Nooli edited it.
