Sonakshi Sinha might be just one film old in Bollywood but she is already laying down conditions and making sure she doesn’t miff her mentor Salman Khan in anyway. The actress, whose career decisions are largely taken by Salman, has told the makers of ‘Race 2’ that she under no conditions would don revealing clothes or do any bedroom scenes for the film.

Confirming the news, a source told a daily, “It’s like a clause. Sonakshi was polite but clear that she won’t expose in ‘Race 2’. The first version of the ‘Race’ series was quite steamy. But the second version is even steamier. Sonakshi was told about this, so she laid down her cards on the table.”
What’s more is that Sonakshi has refused to fall the age old trick where the directors state that such explicit scenes are necessary as the script demands it.
“It goes without saying that Ms Sinha will not perform any lovemaking or smooching scenes in the film. Adjustments have been made to suit Sonakshi, who was being considered for the film for quite some time. Knowing her Indian image and shy nature, this was more or less expected. The producer of the film, Ramesh Taurani, and the directors, Abbas-Mustan, are very happy to have her on board,” adds the source.

Sonakshi Sinha & Shahid Kapoor work togather in Kunal Kohli’s Movie: Sonakshi Sinha will reportedly romance Shahid Kapoor in Kunal Kohli’s Next – Janam Janam Ka Saath Hai Tumhara Hamara. Kunal Kohli announced the project over his Twitter account on Saturday, November 27. "Shahid Kapur and me working together in my next film. Will hopefully sign the heroine in the next few days. Will keep you posted ," he tweeted. Pritam will reportedly score the music for the film and Prasoon Joshi will write the lyrics.

Production for the film will start in April 2011. Sonakshi who made her Bollywood debut with Dabangg in September, now has three films on hand. Hari Om Entertainment’s Joker (Pre Production) directed by Shirish Kunder with co-star Akshay Kapoor. Janam Janam Ka Saath Hai Tumhara Hamara (Announced) directed by Kunal Kohli with co-star Shahid Kapoor. Sajid Nadiadwala production Kick Remake to be directed by Shirish Kunder with co-star Salman Khan.

Sonakshi Sinha, who played the rural belle in Dabangg, is looking forward to her role in Shirish Kunder’s Joker, as the film gives her a chance to display an urban look.

Our source said, “Unlike Dabangg where she donned the costume of a village girl, Joker gives her chance to do the opposite. She will be seen wearing western outfits. Sonakshi is definitely kicked about her glamorous modern look. It’s going to be way different from her earlier film.”

Joker is a hi-tech urban film being made in 3D. According to our source, Sonakshi plays a chic urban girl who is ultra modern. “So obviously, her costumes too are going to be very chic and glamorous. Also, unlike Dabangg where she was seen in just a few scenes, Joker has Sonakshi sharing equal footage on screen with Akshay,” said our source.

Sonakshi Sinha performed on the song, ‘Munni Badnam Hui’ from the film ‘Dabangg’ at the recently held Sahara India Sports Awards 2010 and the very fact did not go well with the main performer Malaika Arora Khan. Ever since the film hit the theatre and the song tops the chartbuster, Malaika has been performing on the popular track during all the events. But when Sonakshi performed the song at the Sahara awards with the same thrill, she was bit upset.

This was Sonakshi’s first stage performance and so everyone applauded her. According to Malaika, Sonakshi could have performed on some other tracks rather than her’s. However, the organizer did not approach Malaika for this event.

The award ceremony will see many top-notch actors performing on some chartbusters and Shahrukh Khan will be hosting the show.

Yet again another young actress had to undergo a similar incident. Sonakshi Sinha came to attend an event organised by three NGOs in the memory of 26/11 victims at the Gandhi garden near the Mantralaya in South Mumbai. Sonakshi came to the event, sat for an hour and just as she was leaving a large group of people began to follow her. Among those who were her ardent fans, few were there just to create trouble. Sonakshi sensed something ugly and tried to fasten her stride, but the mob followed relentlessly. Some of them started saying, "Idhar dekho naa, humse baat karo naa" as they tried coming close and some touched her on her arm and her shoulder. Their behaviour was disgusting and out-of order.

Sonakshi’s bouncers rushed her out of the place and tucked her in the car that sped away. So shaken was the Dabangg girl that she was in tears when she left. It has to be said that such behaviour and that too at an occasion that demands one’s complete respect and harmony, is completely unacceptable.

After impressing one and all with her performance inDabangg, Sonakshi Sinha is certainly a hot property. The pretty actress has been signed by Shirish Kunder for his ambitious 3D directorial venture Joker. Sonakshi would be paired opposite none other than Akshay Kumar in Joker.
Explaining his choice of why Sonakshi for the leading lady, Shirish reasons, "Sonakshi fitted the role perfectly. Hers is an extremely performance oriented character which is there throughout the film with Akshay. Besides another reason for choosing Sonakshi is the fact that she and Akki would be a fresh on-screen pair considering Akshay has worked with most of the top leading ladies." UnlikeDabangg in which she played a village belle, Sonakshi would be seen playing a modern girl in Joker.
Besides Akshay and Sonakshi, Joker would also boast of a huge supporting cast which Shirish would be announcing in the days to come. Commenting on whether there will be some Hollywood technicians involved considering that it’s a 3-D film, Shirish says, "Most of the technicians will be from India but yes, since this a new technology, we would be using the expertise of some experienced names from Hollywood too."
Joker is a co-production between Farah Khan & Shirish Kunder’s Three’s Company and Akshay’s Hari Om Entertainment. The film goes on floors in January 2011 and will be mostly shot all around India.
