Wealthy NRIs abroad always are lured to invest in films or drawn to make their debut in the Indian film industry. Following the lines is Dees Pillai a Tamilian living in South Africa. Pillai’s daughters Priyaloshini and Karasi have finished their studies in the Film Institute at Chennai. The daughters and father have now completed a film project called “Naalai”. Karasi Pillai is the heroine of the film ‘Naalai’ while Khushboo’s brother Abdullah Khan is the hero in the film. This is the first Tamil movie to be directed by a South African. It’s the story of how a girl from South Africa comes to Tamilnadu and become a top leading personality. The movie will be making its release in the month of June in South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore, Canada and Tamilnadu.
