Everyone in the industry is on some or the other social networking site promoting themselves and their movies, but our bong beauty Tanushree Dutta is one celebrity who is far away from all these. Even though she has a facebook account, she is not in the general searchable category and only when she wants does she add someone or gives out her real account name to close friends.

She maintains that, "I have kept the account active only to keep in touch with my school friends and some friends who are out of the country and even after that I log on very rarely like once in 3 months. There are many fake accounts on that site and all my fans who have added those are being fooled by an imposter."

So we guess her fans will be disappointed to have an imposter in their account for so long and hope she lets her fans know her real account so they can fulfill their wishes to be in touch with her.

There seems to be some kind of a confusion regarding who replaced whom in Neeraj Vora’s Run Bhola Run. Tanushree Dutta was apparently replaced by Celina Jaitley. But Celina says she didn’t replace Tanushree. "Tanushree was supposed to do the role that Amisha has finally done. She was cast opposite Govinda." But Amisha firmly refutes Celina’s claim. "I haven’t replaced anyone. I’ve been working on the film from Day 1. Celina has replaced Tanushree."

Tanushree Dutta endorses Amisha’s statement. "I was supposed to be doing the role opposite Tusshar Kapoor that Celina is now doing. I had to opt out because the film got delayed and I had other commitments which I couldn’t wriggle out. Although she isn’t paired with Govinda, the character I was supposed to play has a lot of scenes with Govinda. Celina was a natural choice because she’s doing other films with Govinda and their dates were easier to synchronize than mine and Govinda’s. I’d have loved to work with Govinda. Sadly they faced a lot of hiccups in their schedules earlier. Once I opted out, the film was completed smoothly. My bad luck."

Tanushree also regrets missing out on working with the producers Ashtavinayak. "I had done a guest appearance for them earlier in Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Fortunately, there was no bad blood because of this Run Bhola Run incident. But like I said I was replaced by Celina. Amisha was always in the project."

Tanushree Dutta doesn’t like anyone getting over-friendly with her. Nana Patekar found that out on the sets of Horn Ok Pleassss. And recently, Rohit Roy learned not to cross the line with this Bengali Tigress.

The incident took place on the sets of Apartment, A source present reveals, "Tanushree and Rohit were shooting together. Everything was fine until they were needed for a shot and he called out to her with a, "Let’s go, baby. That’s it." Tanu snapped and told him in icy tones, "Don’t ever address me like that. If you want to call me, use my name. I don’t like these endearments."

Rohit was shocked by this drubbing he recieved in front of the entire unit, "He didn’t like her saying ‘stay in your limits’, which suggested he had behaved indecently, while all he had done was use an endearment.

Complete silence, following her tirade. Rohit, upset at being humilated like this, stormed off from the set and later called the director and requested that he be excused from the shooting for the day."

Says Rohit, "I have nothing to say on this issue!" However Tanushree denies the incident. "I think someone is trying to get publicity out of my name. And no one walks out of director Jagmohan Mundra’s set. He is such an accomplished maker."

Bollywood Actress Tanushree Dutta is a secret bookworm and she loves to read, she buries her nose into books whenever she gets a chance. Amongst her favourites is Robin Cook’s novel ”Coma”, which she describes as ”beautiful sci-fiction” and ”Mutation” which is about the ethics of ”genetic engineering”.

Tanushree Dutta says ”The two books are thrilling and great buys…yes I do love to read. Its helps boost and increases ones knowledge, which is a good thing, as well as you have fun light books like comics to lighten up your mood on rough days. I love reading between shots on sets all the time.”

Tanushree Dutta won the Femina Miss India title in 2004 and was in the Top 10 for the Miss Universe 2004 held in Quito, Ecuador.

Tanushree made her debut in the movie Aashiq Banaya Apne although Chocolate was supposed to be her first movie. She has also starred in Good Boy Bad Boy, Dhol, Bhagam Bhag and Risk.
