Upset with indecent remarks against him made by Rakhi Sawant in her reality television show ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’, a participant died on Thursday after he went in state of depression.

24-year-old Lakshman Prasad Ahirwar, resident of Jhansi in Madhya Pradesh, had featured in this reality show seeking solution to his troubled marriage.
Rakhi Sawant had termed him impotent in the show. Rakhi had announced verdict in favour of his wife Vineeta.
Upset with her remarks Lakshman went into acute depression and even stopped eating.
His family members claim that he even stopped meeting neighbours as they used to laugh over Rakhi’s remarks.
His mother said that he had become very weak and died on Thursday.

Prasad’s uncle Balbir asserted that Rakhi despite of concentrating on solving the dispute between Lakshman and his wife Vineeta, ill treated Lakshman through out the show.

He added that the family will soon lodge a complaint against Rakhi.

They got engaged amid much fanfare on national television but item girl Rakhi Sawant is worried about her Toronto-based fiance Elesh Parujanwala.

She is worried about him accepting her sexy image, his financial independence and, above all, she doesn’t want him to be just known as "Rakhi Sawant’s husband".

"Will Elesh be able to support me financially? I don’t want him to be known as Rakhi Sawant’s husband. I need time.

"I agree Elesh is educated and he comes from a wealthy family. But all of it belongs to his father. He has nothing of his own in Mumbai, not even a home. He needs time to settle down," Rakhi, who selected Elesh through NDTV Imagine’s reality show "Rakhi Ka Swayamvar", told IANS in an exclusive interview.

She is also concerned about Elesh being comfortable with her sexy image.

"People are spreading dirty rumours about me. On the Internet they’ve morphed my face on naked bodies. Would Elesh be able to tolerate it?" asked Rakhi.

She is also disgusted by singer Mika’s attempts to gain mileage out of her name.

"I’m really tired of people using my name. I don’t want to give such people importance. I’ve learnt the hard way how to be dignified. Jesus has taught me to be calm. My good days are just beginning."

Rakhi says she’ll marry Elesh only when he becomes economically self-sufficient.

"I don’t want him to be another Abhishek Awasthi (her ex-boyfriend) in my life. Yes, we’re engaged. I like him a lot. But how can I hand over my life to someone who isn’t earning a proper living?

"That’s why we’re going on another reality show to see whether we’re really as compatible as we seemed on ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamvar’. I didn’t get enough time with him on that show. You and I saw his best face. Now I want to see the real Elesh."

Her new show "Pati Patni Aur Woh", which is likely to be aired next month on NDTV Imagine, is about parenting.

"I want to marry a man who can support me. In India, wives are supposed to be looked after by husbands, not vice versa. I don’t want him to come and stay in my house. I want to live in his house. I will wait for him to afford a house.

"I know Elesh is a decent guy. But is that enough? He has to be financially independent. He needed a place and a face to latch on to; that’s why he came on the show. Abhishek was so decent. But he was known as Rakhi‘s boyfriend."

Rakhi’s new show is about parenting, but kids give her a headache.

"I’ve a migraine problem. When a child cries, I get a severe headache. I don’t know how I’ll manage for a month with a stranger’s child.

"On top of that I’ve to cook on the show. I can’t cook to save my life. I don’t know how I’ll manage. I can’t even use make-up. Can you imagine Rakhi Sawant without makeup?" she said.

Asked how she’ll cope when she has her own kids, Rakhi replied: "Apna bachcha to har koi paal leta hai…jaanwar bhi. I don’t know how I’ll cope. I think I’m going to lose my cool completely. So far people have only seen the good Rakhi Sawant. Now they’ll see the real me."

Speaking about ex-boyfriend Abhishek, she said: "I still consider him my good friend. I hope and pray he finds a good girl. If ever in life he needs me, I’ll always be there.

"If he needs me to be a dance partner in a reality show I’ll gladly do the needful. He has supported me a lot. I’ll always be thankful to him for getting my mother out of my life. That’s one good deed he did. If Abhishek hadn’t been there, I’d have not had the courage to break away from my family. I’d have been wallowing in mud."

Rakhi Ka Swayamwar achieved everything a television reality show would want. It had high TRPs, huge controversy and added to it a spice called Rakhi Sawant it could not have been any bigger on the small screen. But now questions are being raised whether the Rakhi’s swayamwar was just another scripted reality shows aimed at garnering high TRP ratings and bountiful Ad revenue.

The script had it that Rakhi would not to tie knot with anyone at the end of the show and the winner would choose money over Rakhi with the item queen seeking public sympathy. All was going well till two ousted contestants revealed the plot. The producers wanting the show to look authentic came out with a unique solution of Rakhi getting engaged rather that tying the knot at the end.

Two weeks after the grand finale Rakhi Sawant  has already started raising doubts over her fiancée Elesh Parujanwala. First she skipped his sister’s wedding and then questioned his loyalty citing his multiple affairs in the past. She also said that she and Elesh weren’t made for each other. Hang on Rakhi this is the same person you were going gaga praising just about 10 days ago.
Conspiracy theorists believe all that is happening is scripted. Rakhi never had plans to get married on the NDTV Imagine show Rakhi Ka Swayamwar and her raising doubts over Elesh is just another plot. They believe Rakhi and Elesh are heading for a high profile split which will save the face for Rakhi as well as NDTV Imagine. Well with Rakhi around nothing is impossible.

Rakhi Sawant is really happy with her engagement with Elesh Parunjwala and forgived her ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi but is in no mood to forgive her mother.

She says, “I completely forgive Abhishek Awasthi. I was very surprised to know that he showed up on Sunday for my scheduled wedding. Surprised and touched. If I knew, I’d have welcomed him. Yesterday, he was my boyfriend. Today, he’s my friend.”

Talking about her mother she says, “Please, all that nautanki on television for five minutes can’t take away the pain I’ve gone through. As far as I’m concerned that chapter of my life is closed.”

Moving on to Elesh she says,”I was all set to marry Elesh on Sunday. But it was Elesh who said he wanted more time to get to know me. I’m very confident of him. But if he needs more time to get to know me, how can I force myself on him? I’m ready to wait as long as he wants.”

While Elesh is a Canadian businessman Rakhi is not going to shift to Canada, she says, “I’m completely sure Elesh is the man for me. But I do have a career in Mumbai. So he’ll have to plan our future accordingly.”

Rakhi is going to Toronto with fiance Elesh for his sister’s wedding.

India’s first televised ‘swayamvar’ concluded here late Sunday with item girl Rakhi Sawant choosing Toronto-based Elesh Parujanwala as her life partner in a unique reality TV show.
In NDTV Imagine’s "Rakhi ka Swayamvar", Rakhi made the final choice from the three finalists — from the original list of 16 contestants in 26 episodes. The other two finalists were young aspirant Manas Katyal and businessman Chhitiz Jain, both from New Delhi.
"I have been watching Elesh from day one. On and off the camera, he has been the same and has really taken care of me. He is everything I was looking for and I am glad to have found him on the Swayamvar. The swayamvar means finding a jeevan saathi (life partner) and I have found Elesh.
"Today is our engagement. I am ready to get married now, but we need to understand each other better off camera. We will soon get married in front of all of you in keeping with all our traditions," Rakhi said after announcing her choice to a waiting audience across the country.
Decked up in red and gold lehenga-choli by Neeta Lulla and kundan jewellery, Rakhi looked a perfect bride.
Elesh, Manas and Chhitiz too were dressed for the occasion — in traditional sherwanis and turbans.
In the dramatic finale, she garlanded Elesh — as the audience clapped on.
The colourful event, held at the Hotel Leela Kampinsky here Sunday, saw a host of celebrities like choreographer Saroj Khan, actors Ravi Kishen and Ram Kapoor, who posed as brothers to the bride, apart from others like Smita Bansal and Sudha Shivpuri in the audience.

On last Saturday a popular news channel, News 24 did a sting operation on NDTV Imagine’s reality show Rakhi Ka Swayamwar. With hidden cameras they met two booted out contestants from the show who candidly revealed all the embarrassing facts regarding the show. One contestant from Kashmir who is a Police constable by profession even revealed that the makers knew he was married and had three kids yet they made him participate on the show.

But if our sources are to be trusted then there are more shocking facts lined up ahead. Our source claims, “Rakhi Sawant is not going to get married to any of the contestants. The whole thing is a sham. Rakhi is no fool to get married to a reality show contestant. One can recollect her ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi has been a reality show contestant as well. He was a product of Zee’s Cinestars Ki Khoj. She has time and again spoken about her bad experience about getting in a relationship with a nobody like him who used her for financial benefits.”

He further reveals, “When the show reaches its grand finale time and Rakhi finally gets down to making her final choice amongst the last remaining contestants, the makers of the show will be giving the contestants an option of either choosing big money or Rakhi. The guys will opt for the money bag over Rakhi.”

“This will be revealed to Rakhi and the drama queen that she is will throw a fit and express her disappointment and disqualify them. So finally that’s how she will still remain unmarried on the show. If the TRPs go on to increase till the show finale, then a season 2 cannot be ruled out.” concludes our source.

Another source reveals, “Such a show was originally being planned with Bobby Darling but that was for another TV Channel. The makers however chickened out at the last minute to go ahead getting worried about the backlash.”

We then wonder why all this tamasha of getting in celebrities on each episode and making the contestants perform silly tasks. Then you also have special time dedicated to Rakhi venting out all her vent up frustrations about her personal life. Sorry boss it is not entertainment. But well like a senior actor reveals, “In TV nowadays there is only one mantra – ‘TRPs ke liye kuch bhi karega and after all Rakhi too is benefiting from the show by not just the means of good money but also so much screen time dedicated to her dressed in the best of the costumes.”

Rakhi Sawant is dreaming to have a wedding like Aishwarya Rai and wishes to become like Aishwarya Rai on her wedding day – the grand finale of Rakhi Ka Swyamwar.

Rakhi’s wedding attire is being designed by the same designer who designed Aishwarya’s wedding trousseau – Neeta Lulla and her jewelery designer is Zayed Khan’s famous jewellery designer sister Farah Khan.

Neeta says, “Rakhi told us she wants to look like a princess that day – something like she has never looked before. I have given her a very colorful ensemble – it’s a very conservative outfit.For her wedding day, Rakhi would be wearing a lehenga-choli in five different colors with ornate kundan work to give her an ethnic Rajasthan look.”

Farah says,”The choker that Rakhi will be wearing for her wedding day is very heavy. It looks very traditional and covers almost her entire neck.”

Rakhi is apparently going to wear a necklace worth whooping Rs 30 million on her wedding day.

Rakhi Sawant has once again decided to sizzle and whatever the lady does she creates a flutter. Rakhi seems to be in the mood when she stripped down to her bare minimum to give ample view of her ample assets.

The actress is one of the most searched actresses on the net and is a hot favorite among the youth. It is believed that her wallpapers are the most downloaded. She is second to none. Even some actress in mainstream Bollywood moves cannot compete with her popularity. Way to go Rakhi all of us are enjoying the show here!!

Kaif surely must have breathed a sigh of relief too. Not that Katrina had any reason to feel insecure with Rakhi being around Salman, we’re just saying that Rakhi is really good at convincing.
